The pile of failures has steadily grown until the point of an explosion. Of course, Squirrel and his buddies would flatly deny their destructive role.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am – not stuck in the middle, but hovering above the entire farcical spectrum, weeping as I behold my fellow mans devotion to political illusion and – Robert Higgs

Since I was staying put today the day began with bacon, eggs and toast. I cook bacon and eggs ever Sunday at home but a little more often while camping. I rarely ate eggs in the past 55 years but its another source of protein and cooking them over easy still lets me dip my toast in the yoke like I did as a child with a soft boiled egg that mom would prepare. I still dont enjoy egg whites to be hon Read on...
Ever since I read a book, ‘500 places you must see on the British Coast before your die, (as if theres an option afterwards!) Ive been wanting to visit Muck and Eigg, small Scottish islands off the west coast of Scotland. It wasnt guaranteed during winter, so we were lucky to get a ferry to Eigg today.

Here we are....fresh into a brand new year. We wish you all a healthy and happy year....and one with many good stories to tell.
We stayed pretty busy between Christmas and New Years. The park had a Christmas Eve golf cart parade. Many of us decorated our golf carts and drove together throughout the park. The person leading our parade must have thought we were at the Daytona Speedway. We tried kee Read on...

One of the specialities here is a spiced rice and meat dish called Jambalaya. It was on the menu, but I really didnt feel that it was s Read on...
When one thinks of Broome, one thinks of Cable Beach, that long 20 kilometre stretch of beach. On rare occasions its paid a visit by salt water crocodiles while camels frequently take visitors on an evening stroll along the shore. The beach has great tidal swings over a 24 hour period and the sand is quite firm and slopes very gently into the ocean.
Broome itself, sits on a peninsula with the Ind Read on...

After breakfast, we headed to the Sunday Market (Medan Niaga Satok) for some shopping opportunities. Since it was a holiday when we visited, closed to 70 percent of the stalls were not opened for business. Nevertheless, we found ways to entertain ourselves by posing plenty of wacky shots by the Sarawak River.
We were back in the city centre by lunchtime. Starting from the atmospheric Old Courthou Read on...
