The Vacationer conducted an online survey of 1,098 American adults 18 years and older. They were asked, When flying on a plane, which behaviors from fellow passengers annoy you? There were frankly no surprises in the responses. The top two most annoying behaviors were tied: disruptive, drunk passengers and having the back of your seat kicked, in at 59.11%! All I can say is amazing!! Well, thats not all I can say, but its a good intro. Loved this experience. Authentic, busy but not crazy, and the food was incredible. And cheap. We enjoyed a large portion of satay, peanut sauce, rice, amazing fried chicken, Bintang, water, 10 pieces of a variety of deserts freshly made, and some version of grilled toast with Nutella and vanilla, and I kid you not, it Read on...

Yes, I was in a college fraternity, and was often called a Greek even though I am not of Greek origin. We were known as a professional fraternity, but had the best parties on campus. But lets take a rather irreverent look at the Greeks, as we know them today. Greeks have the most sex in the world (and have held the title for ten years). Greeks were the first to go full Monty with the 1931 film, Da Read on...
Alarm went off at 6, you know that we do not really relax on vacation, we are pretty much up and going everyday around 6. The bed a bit soft and the memory foam made it a bit warm, but the ocean breeze in the room all night since we left the windows all slightly cracked. Tarragon slept well, until 4, then it was time to prowl. I think he was talking to the house cat under the door of our room.

My walk this morning took on one of those etherial moods . A low mist clung to the ground. Like a blanket covering everything . It is November after all. As I tramped the village on one of the more familiar routes I remembered fog . Fog as it was when I was a child . A real pea souper . I thought many would not remember a fog so thick that you could not see your hand in front of your face. A fog f Read on...
After my time in Mt Isa, I met Will at the Townsville airport. We picked up our hire car and started the trip North to take us as far as Cooktown. On the way, we passed farms of sugar canes lining the roads and a long thick snake, dead and sprawled across the road. We stopped in Tully, famous for its banana farms and labour from backpackers eagerly working off their farm hours on their working hol Read on...
The Giants Causeway. The most characteristic and unique feature of the site is the exposure of some 40,000 large, regularly shaped polygonal columns of basalt in perfect horizontal sections, forming a 1906 Giants Causeway and Causeway Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site. DSC_0084

We arrived at Odessa Station early in the morning. We headed over to the Left Luggage Office and dropped our bags off there. I cant remember how much it was, but I presume it was pretty inexpensive. We had a couple of hours to kill before our tour started, so most of us headed over to the McDonalds just across the square. We had to navigate through what felt like an underground maze to get there. Read on...
