This was a bit of a nerve racking day for all involved, Thea has been in Telaga Marina around 5 years and due to circumstances has not been out in that time. So it was a slog getting all the systems up and running in order to move her! But boy what a day!

First, last nights dessert. The special dessert was Strawberry Shortcake. Those of you that have been reading this for a while know exa Read on...
Depending on how we describe the early morning, either fresh or freezing, it was great to be up and feeling it. We organised ready to leave tomorrow morning knowing that (maybe) many other vehicles would be on the road.

We woke up to a beautiful morning and were already to eat again. Wed eaten both breakfast and dinner out at our favorite places, but were ready to hit it again. But then we found that we had a new problem.

The drive up to Denver from Colorado Springs was not long. About halfway, we passed Castle Rock. The rock formation does resemble a hilltop Moorish stronghold in Spain. The vegetation of the region is similar, too, adding to the effect.

Phew. Still incredibly hot but a couple of degrees cooler than yesterday. Fortunately we dont need to cycle or walk in the full sunshine or even ride the scooter as we would have done on previous trips. Just trying to be sensible and limit the time we are fully exposed to the sun as it really is lethally hot.
We first of all visited Limeuil which is just over the bridge across the Dordogne. On a Read on...
