Got your attention there. Today was spent in the very capable hands of Captain Kaylee and First Mate Tammy on board the Viewfinder, a small vessel that is part of Major Marine Tours. Our destination today was Northwestern Glacier and all the sites along the way during our 8.5 hour tour. I chose to sit outside so I didnt have to wear a mask the entire trip (although the mask did double as a way to Read on...
We cant remember the last time we visited Ashridge Estate, northwest outskirts of London. We decided to do trekking course on 23 October 2020.
We took the train from Euston for Tring. We saw rain falling, wet platforms from the window on the way to the destination. As we left Tring station, we crossed over the road to start the trekking course. There were signposts for Aldbury, Bridgewater Tower, Read on...
Bibury is a picturesque village, as so many are, so we walked around and saw the trout stream, row cottages, and flower gardens. Then we went off into a river valley, which sounds tame, but the walking was a series of ups and down, woods, vales, and a few fields. All was quiet in the caravan park. Even the wind was quiet. We exited as quietly as we could.

Many cities claim to have the best hotdog. New York, of course, with Nathans, Papaya King, Grays, Crif, and Shallers always claim to be the best. But my personal preference is for the Chicago dog. Why? First, the Chicago dog is all beef, with a poppy seed bun. It is topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, tomato slices or wedges, pickled sport peppers, a Read on...
