We arrived in Florence from Pisa about four in the afternoon. First stop was at the Hotel Kraft. It is a vey nice older hotel in a quiet neighborhood. I also very much liked the Italianate stye of the building. Today we split up and did different things. Don got up at 4:30 am and drove 1.5 hours to Saint Andrews to try to play the old course. Unfortunately, only the people who basically spent the night in the queue were able to get a spot so about noon, he headed back.
